CloudANZ is based in Melbourne, and supports users in New Zealand from 8am NZ time (6am Melbourne time) as well as supporting users in Perth through to 6pm, which is 9pm in Melbourne time (during Eastern Daylight Saving time). Therefore your systems need to be supported and operational for 15 hours per day just to cater for an 8am – 6pm time slot across Australia and New Zealand. Allowing for some users working late and some starting earlier, therefore system maintenance and backups need to be scheduled to ensure your users are not disrupted across all Australian and New Zealand time zones.
